Based on their book No Perfect Parents (Zondervan, 2021), this online parenting course equips you to explore what you’re really aiming for as a parent, how your own story shapes the way you lead your kids, and how to build a home where faith, grace, and connection grow over time. 

Many people use this study over five weeks, whether with a group, as a couple, or on their own, watching a session and taking time to reflect or talk it through.

A former history teacher and an alumnus of the University of Tennessee, he lives near Nashville with his wife of more than twenty years, Laura, and their daughter, Sadie. He serves as the executive and teaching pastor at The Church at Pleasant Grove and hosts the weekly podcast Talk About That.
