Somewhere along the way, we drifted apart from our nextdoor neighbors, and now we’re not sure we can get back together again. We lack a clear vision for showing and sharing Jesus’ love with them and how his countercultural values might transform our neighborhoods, including us.
But just imagine. Revision your neighborhood next-door.
Imagine a neighborhood where people are connected rather than isolated, where wrongs are righted, where mercy brings fences down, and where we become agents in seeing God’s kingdom come. In a world that often feels disconnected, “welcome to the neighborhood” can take on a whole new meaning. Believing the beatitudes are Jesus’ invitation into neighborhood flourishing, Neighborhoods Reimagined envisions how these upside-down values can turn our corners right-side-up.
In today’s digital age, the phrase “neighborhood near me” can take on a new meaning. It’s not just about proximity; it’s about finding a community, a home where you belong. The idea of a neighborhood who extends beyond geographical boundaries; it’s about the people who shape your daily life and the fabric of your community. Neighborhoods Reimagined invites you to cultivate renewed relationships with those who live in your neighborhood nextdoor, fostering a stronger sense of community.

Stephen B. ,
This is one of the best books I’ve read all year. I love how the authors paint a beautiful picture of what Jesus calls us to in the context of our neighborhoods while remaining realistic about the common obstacles we face. This book doesn’t beat you down about how you’ve failed; it calls you to something better and gives you practical guidance on how to move forward.
I can only imagine how much our communities would thrive if all Christians lived out this vision of the beatitudes in our neighborhoods!
