I Couldn’t Love You More

This heartwarming picture book combines irresistible illustrations with the lyrics of I Couldn’t Love You More—a song co-written by Jason Ingram and Matt Hammitt, lead singer of the Grammy-nominated band Sanctus Real. Inspired by Matt and his wife Sarah’s journey with their son Bowen, who was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), the book shares a powerful message of love that transcends all.

In the spirit of beloved picture books like Let Me Hold You Longer and Love You Forever, it gently reminds children: I couldn’t love you more, but there is someone who does. Through the bond of adorable animal pairs, little ones are introduced to the truth that Christ’s love is more than they could ever imagine.

A portion of the proceeds from authors’ sales goes to benefit the Hammitts’ foundation, supporting families navigating the challenges of HLHS.

Jason Ingram is a producer and songwriter for the American Christian rock band Sanctus Real. He has worked with the band on songs like Run and Lead Me. As a highly respected songwriter in Christian music, Jason has collaborated with artists such as Chris Tomlin, Lauren Daigle, and Brandon Heath, crafting songs that have touched countless lives. His passion for writing lyrics that speak to the heart is evident in I Couldn’t Love You More, which he co-wrote with Matt Hammitt. Through this book, Jason helps share a message of deep, unconditional love—one that points children and families to the unshakable love of Christ.

Matt Hammitt is a singer, songwriter, and speaker. He was the lead singer for the band Sanctus Real from 1996-2016. Matt is the recipient of three Dove Awards and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards. After leaving the band, Matt joined the FamilyLife speaker team and is a keynote speaker and performer at marriage and men’s conferences across the U.S., including Kirk Cameron’s “Living Room Reset” events. Matt lives in Tennessee with his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
