Dru Joyce knows. As the director of the Northeast Ohio Basketball Association and head basketball coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio he has been mentor to some of the nation's best young players, including LeBron James. Coaching isn't just about winning the game. Coaching is teaching boys to become men. Coach Dru Joyce remembers coaching NBA player LeBron James when LeBron first started playing at age eleven. Dru Joyce II was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio. He is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and Ohio University, with a degree in Business Administration. Dru moved his family to Akron in 1984 for his position at Con Agra. In 2004 Dru left Con Agra after twenty-six years to coach basketball full-time.
