About the Authors

They live in Brentwood, Tenn., where Doug serves as community group pastor for Fellowship Bible Church. Doug and Amy previously served with FamilyLife® for eight years, where they helped found FamilyLife's Hope for Orphans® ministry.
Jason and Trisha Weber have degrees in social work from the University of Kansas. They served in the inner city ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ for seven years and worked with many families and children involved in the foster care system. They became foster parents and adopted twin daughters who now reside with them in Little Rock, Ark., where they work with FamilyLife's Hope for Orphans®.
