This book gives new hope to those who struggle with depression, and those who seek to help them. Dr Welch writes compassionately on the complex nature of depression and sheds light on the path toward deep, lasting healing.
Welch considers carefully the spiritual, medical, and emotional factors that contribute to depression. Even more important is his insight into the impact of these factors' interaction. If depression has touched your life in any way, you can be helped by this practical and far-reaching approach.
"Help, hope, focus and vision...most of all, a renewed excitement for the wealth of wisdom in the Word of God! That's how I felt when I finished the last page of Ed Welch's book. Having wrestled through years of depression when I was first spinal-cord-injured, it was biblical insights which finally dissipated the fog of my feelings. Thank you, Ed, for providing fine-tuned focus on the Word of God and the principles which give light to our dark path." - Joni Eareckson Tada, JAF International
